Privacy Policy

Account details you give us: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with a social provider, we receive your name, email, and avatar from them.

Booking activity: the events you book, quantities, and payment status. Card details never touch our servers. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we only store a reference to the transaction.

Host details, if you apply to host: your business name, bio, and the verification information Stripe requires to pay you out.

We use your information to run the service: confirming bookings, sending tickets and receipts, notifying you when an event you booked changes (rescheduled, postponed, or cancelled), and paying hosts what they earned.

If you join the newsletter we email you about events and product news. Every email includes a way out, and unsubscribing is immediate.

We never sell your data. We share it only with the services that make WeOut work: Stripe for payments and host payouts, Google Maps for venue locations and address search, and our email provider for transactional messages.

Hosts see the name and booking details of guests attending their events, never your payment information.

Data lives in encrypted databases with access limited to the people who operate the platform. Uploaded images are stored on private object storage and served through our own domain. We keep booking and transaction records as long as the law and accounting rules require.

You can update your profile at any time from your dashboard. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it. Write to us through the contact page and we will handle it within 30 days.
