Cancelling as a guest
Changed your mind? You can request a refund from My Bookings up to the refund cutoff, typically 24 hours before the event starts (the exact cutoff is shown when you book). Requests are reviewed and, once approved, refunded in full to your original payment method.
Free bookings can be cancelled up to the same cutoff, which simply releases your spot.
After the cutoff, bookings are final, because hosts have already planned and paid for the event around confirmed guests.
When a host cancels
If a host cancels an event, every paid booking is refunded automatically and in full: ticket price and all fees, with no action needed from you. You will get an email and an in-app notification the moment it happens. Refunds are not at the host's discretion; the platform issues them.
Postponed events
Sometimes a date falls through but the event will still happen. When a host postpones, booking pauses and your ticket stays valid for the new date. You'll be emailed as soon as it's rescheduled.
Can't make it, or don't want to wait? While an event is postponed you can request a full refund at any time. The usual cutoff doesn't apply.
When ticket sales close
Hosts can close sales early (or an event can sell out). Closing sales never affects existing bookings. Your ticket remains valid and the event runs as planned.
How refunds are paid
All refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Once issued, most banks show the money within 5 to 10 business days. If a refund seems missing after that, contact us with your booking code and we will chase it down.
